Reviewing Uploaded Documents
When clients upload documents, you'll see them appear in two places on the submission detail page: the Document Checklist (showing per-requirement status) and the Uploaded Documents table (listing every file individually).
AI verification. Each upload is automatically classified by AI. You'll see one of three indicators in the Verification column:
- ✓ Verified — the AI confidently identified the document and considers it usable
- ⚠ Could not fully verify — AI is uncertain but the file is uploaded
- ✗ Issue detected — AI flagged a potential problem (wrong document type, wrong tax year, etc.)
Accepting or rejecting. For each document, click Accept to confirm it or Reject to mark it as needing replacement. When rejecting, you'll be prompted for a reason — this is sent to the client by email so they know what to fix.
The "Linked Requirement" column. The AI automatically links each document to the requirement it best matches. You can change the link using the dropdown if the AI got it wrong. Once you accept a document, the link is locked from the client's side (you can still change it as needed).
Email digest. You'll receive ONE digest email after the client finishes their upload session (30 minutes of inactivity OR when they click "I'm done uploading"). No more per-file inbox spam.
