Understanding Statuses

ReqVault uses three statuses to describe progress at every level:

Pending — Nothing has been uploaded yet. The submission is ready but the client hasn't started.

Partial — At least one document has been uploaded but the submission is not yet marked complete by the accountant.

Complete — The accountant has marked the submission as complete. The upload page is locked. No further changes can be made (unless re-opened).

On the client overview page (right-side badge). Shows the AGGREGATE status across all submissions for that client:

  • Complete: ALL submissions are complete
  • Pending: ALL submissions are pending
  • Partial: Anything in between (mixed states)

On the dashboard. Each client's status badge uses the same aggregate logic.

On document-level checklist (within a submission). Status indicators per requirement use a different scheme:

  • ⚪ Grey — no documents linked yet
  • 🟡 Amber — documents linked, awaiting accountant review
  • 🟢 Green — at least one accepted document
  • 🔴 Red — linked documents exist, all rejected
  • 🔘 Muted — requirement marked as not applicable
